Dreaming Away

Here is another swap that I'm working on. What do you think? I hate trying to figure what it is missing! I love the new set, Dreams Du Jour. It is a great set for watercoloring. That is what I did. I used the watercolor crayons and then embossed with the Iridescent Ice EP. I used Pixie Pink, Certainly Celery and Lavender Lace CS and white taffeta ribbon.

Color Challenge #16

Okay, I'm a little nervous. this is my first attempt at Kristina Werner's color challenge. I loved the colors together. It is so soothing. Even better, I used all scrap CS to make my layers! I knew one day I could put some of those to good use. I hate throwing away even the smallest piece of CS. I have gotten a lot better since I've been cleaning up and organizing my stamp room. The phrase is from SU's new word set "Heard from the Heart". It will be available in the Fall/Winter 2008 Catalog. Since the color challenge included Very Vanilla, I water colored the flower from the pretties kit with Soft Sky ink. You always need some bling too! Enjoy.

Okay, I have updated my sailboat It needed a little pop. Thanks to my great upline, Beckie, she gave me some suggestions. You gotta love awesome stampers! The Tangerine Tango CS really made the difference. Thanks Beckie.

My next card is using some more of the new colors. It is Kiwi Kiss with Tangerine Tango and Summer Sun (old). I love the Embrace Life set. I don't use it much either. I thought I'd give it a try. What do you think? Lastly, I needed to throw in a picture of my baby. Isn't he so cute!

convention swaps

Here is my first try at a swap today. I'm trying out some the new, yummy SU! "In Colors". I have used Pacific Point and Tangerine Tango and a good, old stand by, chocolate chip. I was trying to come up with a manly card. I wanted to choose a set, Winds of Grace, that wanted be so popular at convention. I used the crimper on the strip of Choc chip. What do you think? Is it convention acceptable?

Beckie's Chipboard Challenge

So I'm a little late updating my chipboard challenge picture. I still can't the hang of a mac! I just found out how easy it is to upload a picture! Here is a page that I was working already. I couldn't figure out what is was missing and along came Beckie's challenge. This was such a simple moment that I had captured. My son was helping out his cousin. It was too cute. Enjoy.
